I love your blog and I love your post. Our troop just started a blog last year. Its amazing I should come across yours Im so glad I did. You have great posts here.
We were just on this subject with our scouts. Showing them the ridiculousness of some of the events that occur in society today. We were telling them stories of what we did when we were young and they responded ....if we did that now. My husband is the assistant scoutmaster in our troop and I am committee chairman. It has been great fun. Every day with these boys has been an absolute privledge. We have had the same boys since they were 5 and 6. Watching them grow has been like watching our own family grow. They are considered our family as well, our scouting family.
These children or should I say young tteens now have it very hard. They told us all about how very hard it was on the last campout. Our society has made it this way for them. Where we would have gotten a good whack and sent on our way, they are sent to homes for troubled teens. Until our society takes back responsibility and control of our youth sadly it may only become worse! Thanks for your post and keep on posting! Stop over at our blog and check it out. http//blackknightstroop51.blogspot.com...Have a great day and God Bless!
