This one has been floating around online for a while now (hence the watermark on mine as people don’t credit Grandad).<\/p>\n
<img decoding=\"async\" data-attachment-id=\"2102\" data-permalink=\"https:\/\/blog.nawbus.co.uk\/?attachment_id=2102\" data-orig-file=\"https:\/\/blog.nawbus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img204-Medium.jpg\" data-orig-size=\"1041,768\" data-comments-opened=\"0\" data-image-meta=\"{"aperture":"0","credit":"","camera":"","caption":"","created_timestamp":"0","copyright":"","focal_length":"0","iso":"0","shutter_speed":"0","title":"","orientation":"1"}\" data-image-title=\"img204 (Medium)\" data-image-description=\"\" data-image-caption=\"\" data-large-file=\"https:\/\/blog.nawbus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img204-Medium-1024x755.jpg\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2102\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.nawbus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img204-Medium-300x221.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"221\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.nawbus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img204-Medium-300x221.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.nawbus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img204-Medium-1024x755.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.nawbus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img204-Medium-768x567.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.nawbus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img204-Medium.jpg 1041w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>
\nThe second image is a scan of a print I have that is hanging on my wall. It wasn’t all point and shoot in those days!
\nI have no idea why he took this, as this is the only photo of a tram, that I know of, that he took (if you exclude the one in the background).
\nThe Potteries Electric Traction Company’s trams ran for another three years until they were withdrawn in July 1928.
