Indeed we invested three new Scouts at the weekend on camp.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">However, our newest member won\u2019t be joining us every week as it is a bit far for him to travel! He is a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Federaci%C3%B3_Catalana_d%27Escoltisme_i_Guiatge\" target=\"_blank\">Scout from Catalonia<\/a> in Spain and is staying with one of our Scouts who is a friend of his. He was able to join the Scouts on their recent camp at Gradbach.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Therefore we decided to make him an honorary member of the Troop and gave him a red necker, all the investiture badges, a one Nights Away badge and an Outdoor Challenge badge.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">A welcome addition to the Troop.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This in itself is not a very unusual news item.
